Amstel campus completed

The construction of the Jakoba Mulder House (formerly Conrad House) marks the final step in completing the Amstel Campus. A vibrant city campus where nearly 30,000 students study, research and meet.

For the Jakoba Mulder House, we were able to devise and commission a light management system. In this project, we identified each lamp so that everything was accurately recorded in the system. We then matched our devices to the HVA's ICT. The system was built in such a way that it can be expanded to include a monitoring system that provides insight into the status of luminaires and allows automatic testing and reporting of emergency lighting. Touchscreens were supplied to control the lighting in the lecture halls. A link was also made with the climate control system, so that the light management sensors can also be used to control the climate control system.

Both the lighting and the climate system are controlled by movement. This is done via a BACnet link.
