New swimming pool

Ostend Swimming Pool is named after former swimmer 'Brigitte Becue'. The new swimming pool opened its doors in 2021. The pool has a leisure pool, an instruction pool for children and an Olympic competition pool suitable for international competitions. There are changing rooms for swimmers, families and wheelchair users. Meeting rooms are also available, made available for sports meetings as well as for hire. The swimming pool has a garage under the building and the pool has a cafeteria overlooking the competition pool.

Lighting controls

Thanks in part to a good relationship with our customer Engie, we gained the trust for the pool's lighting management system. A clock control ensures that the 'users' are relieved. Multiple screens were also supplied (7-inch), (10.4-inch) and (15-inch) for easily managing and setting scenes for each occasion.

A major reason for choosing a Helvar DALI lighting control is because flexibility is hugely important. Thus, later in the process, it was also decided to add a DMX RGB lighting control for the yoga classes.
