Winterwarm

Winterwarm has a leading position in the industrial heating market. WinLed is a sister company of Winterwarm and specialises in LED lighting. Winterwarm decided to build an entirely new building in 2019. Since August 2022, the building has been in use. For the new building, technical sales consultant Steven van Beek, in close cooperation with Winterwarm, was able to realise the lighting management system. Jurgen van der Kolk, sales consultant LED solutions, fitted the WinLed fixtures used in the building with Helvar LED drivers.

Helvar LED drivers for WinLed

Since 2019, we have been proudly supplying ON/OFF and DALI (-2) LED drivers to WinLed. WinLed in Winterswijk supplies LED lighting for commercial environments such as offices, industrial halls, shops, warehouses and outdoor areas. For renovations, sustainable retrofit solutions are also available where the light lines can be retained. DALI sensors can be built into the WinLed Skyline series, making the switch to LED even simpler and more sustainable.

Lighting management system in the new building

Steven designed the complete lighting control system for Winterwam's new building. Steven: "For Winterwarm's new building I was involved in a special role. I was asked to advise and design the complete lighting control system. I then devised the control in coordination with Winterwarm and then incorporated it on the installation drawings."

The new 950 DALI-2 routers were used in this project. This ensures a flexible and future-proof installation. Lighting in the offices is controlled by motion sensors. This was deliberately done because the new building contains a lot of glass. By not switching off the light completely, a friendly atmosphere is created during the day. The production hall is fully controllable and adjustable from the touchscreen at reception. A BACnet link ensures that data from the lighting management system is exchanged with the building management system.
