Modern hotel

The new, modern hotel Via Via in Leeuwarden is not a standard hotel. The hotel works with a self-check-in service, so there is no reception. However, a host is present daily to speak to all guests.

Commissioned by Pranger Rosier, we were able to realise the lighting management system in the entrance and lounge area of the hotel.

Flexible installation

Upon entering the hotel, cosiness radiates from it. The combination of colourful furnishings and good lighting create a nice atmosphere. A 10-inch touchscreen was supplied to easily control all lighting at the entrance and in the seating area. Relay modules and dimmers were also installed to include the 'non-DALI' lighting in the system.

The new 950 DALI-2 routers were used in this project. This ensures a flexible and future-proof installation. Lighting in the offices is controlled by motion sensors. This was deliberately done because the new building contains a lot of glass. By not switching off the light completely, a friendly atmosphere is created during the day. The production hall is fully controllable and adjustable from the touchscreen at reception. A BACnet link ensures that data from the lighting management system is exchanged with the building management system.
