Hyatt Regency Spinoza Hotel

The international 5-star hotel Hyatt Regency Spinoza is located in the city centre of Amsterdam, on the site of the former Emma Children's Hospital. Although part of the hospital's old façade has been preserved, the building has been completely modernised. Helvar supplied the lighting management system on behalf of Terberg Totaal Installaties from IJsselstein.

The ground floor comprises the reception, lobby, restaurant, lounge, gym & spa, courtyard garden and conference facilities. Using Helvar control panels and various pre-programmed lighting scenes, the lighting in the reception, lobby, restaurant and lounge can be adjusted to the situation at any time of the day. The various design luminaires without DALI LED drivers are controlled by means of DALI phase dimmers. In this way, all lighting can be controlled by one system.

In the meeting rooms, there is a link to the AV system. The moment the beamer switches on, the presentation scene automatically becomes active. The emergency lighting can also be monitored by means of a visualisation on a touchscreen, making maintenance of the emergency lighting installation easy.

The building has received a BREEAM-NL Excellent certificate.
