Transformed office
The Rotterdam Building, located between Lijnbaan and Coolsingel in Rotterdam, has no less than 14 floors and will be completely transformed by 2023. From office spaces for different types of tenants to a versatile co-working space.
On behalf of Ballast Nedam Development, we fitted the ground, 1st and 2nd floors of the Rotterdam Building with a lighting management system.
Steering
The building has multiple 950 routers for controlling the lighting. The lighting in the common areas is controlled by means of a touchscreen operated at reception. Lighting in some offices and meeting rooms can also be controlled by the central touchscreen.
Daylight and motion sensors are used in the offices and meeting rooms. These sensors ensure that the lighting automatically adjusts itself to the amount of daylight entering the room. It is also possible to switch the lighting on and off and dim it via the switches.
