Flex Café is a hospitality space within ROC Friesland where theory and practice come together. The Flex Café is intended for various catering-related courses. As a guest, you can come here for lunch or a cup of coffee.

In this project, we joined forces with IdFrm to provide a beautiful and appropriate lighting system.

IdFrm created the lighting plan and developed Tunable White luminaires. The luminaires, fitted with Helvar LED drivers, are controlled by a Helvar router system. Using a 7-inch touchscreen, the user can set the colour temperature and intensity, thereby adjusting the atmosphere and experience in the room. Think cool light tones during meetings, theory lessons and cleaning activities and warm light tones during snacks and drinks. Luminaires not fitted with a DALI driver are incorporated into the system by means of dimmers.

Thanks to attending software training, IdFrm was able to commission the system itself.
