Since 1273, Nijmegen's Stevenskerk has been the city's skyline-defining church for almost eight centuries. After a major restoration in 2014, the church was fitted with new lighting and a lighting control system from Helvar in 2019.

Together with installer Schekman Elektrotechniek from Nijmegen, Helvar has fulfilled the wishes and requirements of the lighting architects (Willem Hoebink) and the church council as well as possible. A flexible installation with colour control to use the LED lighting to create the right atmosphere for the various activities in the church. Of course, the monumental König organ, which is the face of the church, is beautifully lit.
