A unique building has emerged in the Beemster region, CONO Kaasmakers' new cheese factory. The offices, shop and meeting rooms are equipped with an intelligent lighting control system. Based on an alarm circuit, the 'welcome' scene is switched on; an atmospheric walking route to the workstations.

Occupancy sensors have been installed at workstations and in meeting rooms, and various time controls combined with shift change times ensure that the lighting is always in the right position.

The first two luminaires from the window side dim fully automatically based on daylighting for maximum energy savings, and on the various touchscreens it is possible to manually select a number of preset scenes for maximum comfort and convenience.
