The Mercedes-Benz flagship store in The Hague is the first store with Mercedes-Benz's new retail concept in Europe. Central to the new concept is the creation of a fascinating brand experience.
All lighting in the flagship store is controlled by the Helvar lighting management system. Much is automated through sensors and time controls. Special luminaires are also included in the system through the convenient 492 relay units.
In the store, many digital techniques have been applied and integrated with each other with the aim of making the service seamless to customer needs. One example is the integration of the light management system with the Crestron AV system.
This ensures that the setting in the Consultancy Rooms can be tuned around a product. Using presets, a perfect brand and product experience can be created for the customer based on the audio, content on the screens and lighting.

Het gebouw valt goed op vanaf de snelweg dankzij de schitterende showcase. De showcase bestaat uit 4 rijen waar in totaal 44 auto’s tentoongesteld kunnen worden. Omdat het verschilt hoeveel auto’s er in de showcase staan kan de verlichting via het touchscreen set per car and stored in a scene.
