MPM International Oil Company is a manufacturer of lubricants and speciality fluids.
In cooperation with Trilux and installation company R.G. Hoogerheyde Elektrotechniek, Helvar supplied and programmed the light management system.
In the building, the existing fluorescent lighting was replaced by LED, fitted with a DALI driver. High-bay sensors were used in each room, both in the workshops and in the warehouses.
There are daylight domes in the ceiling of the building's halls. To maximise energy savings, 329 light sensors have been installed on the inside of these domes. These light sensors dim down the lighting in the halls based on daylight.
The light sensors are placed on the inside of the dome to prevent contamination of the skylights from causing incorrect light levels.
A touchscreen in the hall of the building allows manual switching of all lighting. In addition, a link with the alarm was made to provide a welcome mode and a swipe function
