Oostplein metro station in Rotterdam has been fitted with a Helvar light management system. The station has two platforms and is used by three metro lines.
When a metro approaches, the sensor detects this movement, causing the lights to come on brighter. As soon as the metro leaves and no more movement is detected, the lights will dim again. The lighting never goes out completely but always stays on at a low level for safety.
Via our ucontrol platform, the luminaires can be monitored, ensuring that defects can always be resolved quickly and efficiently.
