With a high focus on sustainable and "future-proof" solutions, it is becoming increasingly clear that today's realisations must remain compatible with tomorrow's functionalities and services.
A great example of this mentality can be found at Reynaers Aluminium. Since 2017, they have been using the Helvar DALI light management system throughout the building. The system allows them to control the building both locally and centrally through clear touchscreens with links to HVAC and electric window controls.
As a market leader, Reynaers is always working on new developments. Building technology also needs to stay up-to-date. That is why the lighting management system is connected to the Helvar Cloud Platform. This makes it possible to monitor and maintain the existing system via the cloud. This enables Reynaers to gain insight into the performance of the system and the building, they know when something is wrong and problems can be easily resolved. The Helvar Cloud Platform is always evolving. Updates are made automatically so new functionalities remain supported.
