A smart sensor with wireless control panel

One Node Multisensor with a pre-configured control panel - with it, a room can be provided with smart and complete DALI control. The luminaires are controlled based on daylight and movement and can be operated manually via a wireless control panel.

But there are more options:

  • With (high-bay) sensor and control panel
As explained above: a complete solution.
  • With (high-bay) sensor but without control panel
It is also possible to apply only a sensor.
  • A control panel only
Can the light in the room be operated manually only? This too is, thanks to the 5609 Node Advanced, possibly.

Local DALI control but scalable

Up to 16 luminaires can be connected to the sensor's DALI output. This allows many rooms to be equipped with local DALI control. But the Node can connect to devices nearby, creating an ActiveAhead network.

Works straight out of the box

Take the sensor out of the box, connect the fittings and mount it in the ceiling. With that, everything is done. The sensor controls the luminaires based on daylight and motion.

Wireless operation without batteries

The Node Multisensor can be delivered including a wire- and battery-free control panel which is already linked to the sensor. This also makes the control panel work without configuration straight out of the box.

ActiveTune app

With the ActiveTune app, you can adjust the lighting in your workplace to suit your personal needs. You can save your favourite light settings so that you have the light you want at every workstation. All you have to do is open the app and scan the QR code or hold your phone against the NFC tag.

Case study

The 5640 Multisensor, in combination with a 185WAA control panel, is very versatile. Any room that needs local DALI control can be equipped with this solution. Below are three examples

Classroom

The sensor detects if someone is present in the room. Sensor coverage can be easily extended by installing additional (system) sensors.

All lighting and emergency lighting is connected to the 5640 Multisensor. Via the wireless control panel, lighting can be switched via programmable scenes.

Office

The system in an office environment looks the same as in a classroom. All luminaires are connected to the 5640 Node Multisensor.

Dimmers and relays can also be connected to the 5640, so non-DALI lighting can also be controlled. In addition, the 5640 can be linked to the alarm via an input unit or a Node Link.
