Operation via nurse call system

In several hospitals, we have made an integration with the nurse call system. This integration makes it possible to control the lighting via the bedside controls. In most cases, a 444 mini input unit is placed in the remote control so that we can pick up the signal and control the lighting.

Helvar Senses provides continuous insight into issues such as temperature, humidity and CO2 readings. Based on these measurements, systems can automatically adjust to achieve an optimal indoor climate. This contributes to a comfortable and healthy environment for patients, visitors and employees.

ucontrol | e-monitor is a module for monitoring DALI emergency lighting. Duration and function tests are performed at programmed times. Manually starting the tests is also possible.

Case study: Tergooi MC

What is special about this project is its considerable size and the various functionalities used. The hospital was built in four building sections, so we divided the system software-wise into four sections as well. The network communication between the different parts is therefore minimal, which contributes greatly to efficient system operation and reliability.

A higher BREEAM score

A Helvar light management system increases working comfort and supports smart building management. Automatic lighting control of indoor and outdoor lighting, presence detection and daylight regulation maximise energy savings. All data from sensors and luminaires can also be read out and visualised.
