Control of blinds

Besides lighting, blinds can also be easily operated and controlled via the light management system. This can be done locally with a control panel or centrally via a touchscreen. It is also possible to fit a weather station, making control fully automated.

Monitoring (emergency) lighting

ucontrol | e-monitor is a module for monitoring DALI emergency lighting. Duration and function tests are performed at programmed times. Manually starting the tests is also possible.

Time controls and corridor hold

A commonly used and perhaps underrated functionality is time control. (Astronomical) time controls ensure that light groups or light scenes are on or activated at fixed times.

The corridor hold functionality ensures that corridor lighting stays on as long as a connected room is occupied, improving safety and comfort.

Customised operation

A touchscreen allows various systems to be operated in a user-friendly way. We can fully customise the layout of the touchscreens. We can adopt your house style but enable operation from a floor plan.

Case study: Constellation Building, Schiphol Airport

Together with WinLed, we supplied ActiveAhead Node Multisensors for lighting control. The ActiveAhead Node Multisensors have a DALI output to which DALI luminaires can be connected. This is the perfect solution as this is a renovation project. Existing cabling was retained and new custom-made luminaires were installed by WinLed. Thanks to the Node Multisensors, the luminaires can be easily configured via the ActiveAhead app. The beauty of this system is that wireless switches can also be added. The sensors are interconnected via Bluetooth Mesh and can therefore form one network together. ActiveAhead light management system.

A higher BREEAM score

A Helvar light management system increases working comfort and supports smart building management. Automatic lighting control of indoor and outdoor lighting, presence detection and daylight regulation maximise energy savings. All data from sensors and luminaires can also be read out and visualised.
