Commissioning engineer / programmer - Belgium

Job description

As a commissioning engineer, you will join a nice team that works together to serve our customers as well as possible. Together with your colleagues, you are the first point of contact on projects in progress.

As a commissioning engineer, you have an important role in implementing our systems on site at the customer's premises. Together with the project coordinator, you are the first point of contact for customers on this subject. Every day, you are on projects to work enthusiastically with our customers.

It is also your job to analyse faults in the projects with the installer and provide solutions so that our client's engineer can make the appropriate adjustments to the electrical installation, if necessary.

Your duties will include:

• On-site commissioning of systems in cooperation with the installer
• Preparing projects in the office
• In-office design and configuration of user interface for touchscreens
• Test and deliver the project with the customer and provide the necessary instructions

Who are you?

You stand your ground and are stress-resistant. Your flexibility, proactive attitude and customer-friendliness are at the heart of customer service. Full of energy, you will work independently in our progressive organisation. Furthermore, you possess:

• A completed education in a technical field
• Technical knowledge in electrical engineering and modern software techniques
• Relevant internship and/or work experience
• Good command of the Dutch language and English is an advantage, both written and oral
• An availability preferably of 32 or 40 hours
• An active attitude and great accuracy
• Problem-solving ability
• Good speaking and writing skills in Dutch, English is an advantage
